BA: Visual Art

This degree easily allows students to possibly double major, or finish pre-professional requirements for non-arts related programs.

What is Visual Art Degree?

The Visual Art emphasis is an appropriate course of study for students whose educational goal is to incorporate a more substantive study in the liberal arts than the BFA allows. Like the BFA program, the BA focuses on creativity, critical thinking, project development, peer engagement and collaboration, and mastery of technique and craftsmanship.

What can I do with a degree in Visual Art

The BA degree is well-suited to students who anticipate graduate or professional school not directly related to art and design.

This degree easily allows students to possibly double major, or finish pre-professional requirements for non-arts related programs. Many students majoring in the BA in Visual Art Studies program go on to medical school (or other professional health schools), law school, and other graduate programs in non-arts related disciplines.
